This new multi-voice recognition technology means Kenyan families can now interact with their fridges like never before.
Whether checking personal calendars, viewing family photos, or even locating a misplaced phone, the fridge responds uniquely based on who is speaking, bringing a touch of modern convenience to everyday kitchen routines.
“Our goal is to create an AI Home that adapts intuitively to every user, making life easier and more connected.” Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of Samsung’s Digital Appliances R&D, said in a statement.
The update also introduces a fresh way to wake up Bixby, simply by double-tapping the fridge’s screen, making hands-free interaction even more seamless.
Moreover, Samsung is expanding entertainment options for Kenyan users by extending Samsung TV Plus services beyond South Korea and the US to countries including Kenya’s regional neighbours, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, and India before rolling out globally.
This will allow families to enjoy shows and news directly from the fridge, so no more fighting for the remote anymore.
Soon, you will be able to watch your favourite cooking shows, movies, news, or YouTube entertainment right on your fridge door.
Samsung’s Bespoke line of refrigerators offers customizable appliances with interchangeable panels in a variety of colours and finishes. So, if you want a fridge in green, red, or any other colour, the Bespoke line is perfect for you. Unlike regular fridges, these can be personalised and prices range from Sh110,000 to 250,000.
